BLUSH

'BLUSH' original oil painting on canvas, unframed.

The rose garden, the way I remember it...

My goal for BLUSH was to capture summer roses as if they belong to your fondest memory. You know sometimes when you look back on something wonderful and it rushes through your mind in a fragmented, dreamy way; there's movement and stillness at the same time; and the colours are so vivid and unreal...I wanted this piece to represent that feeling. I hope it inspires nostalgia, not just for sweet, rose-fragranced summer twilights but for your own most treasured, joyous, heart-racing, dizzyingly beautiful memories.
